There is some overlap to ages in divisions because of the variety of skill levels.
Typically the divsions breakdown this way
T-Ball = 4 & 5 years old
Junior Minors (aka Coach Pitch) = 6, 7 & 8 years old
Minors (aka Player Pitch) = 8, 9, & 10 years old
Little League Baseball = 10, 11, & 12 years old
Intermediate (aka 50/70) = 11, 12, & 13 years old
Juniors = 13, 14, 15 years old
Seniors = 14, 15, & 16 years old
The number of divisions in the Spring season is determined by the number of players registered to play. All efforts will be made to place the player in a division that reflects their age and skill level. Historically, there have been two Jr. Minors Divisions and Minors.
All players with the exception of the T-Ball players will be assessed prior to the draft. This is not a try out but an assessment of skill.
Players will be drafted from the oldest division to the youngest division. This way if someone should be playing at the old end of their age spectrum they can and if they need to play as the older player in a younger division they can.
